10 - 14 AUGUST & 17 - 21 AUGUST 2026 in Hilversum


Globe Piano Summer School is an intensive piano study program from August 10 - 24 or August 17 - 21 in Hilversum, The Netherlands for pianists of all ages. The course will take place at Heuvellaan Hilversum the former "MCO", Muziekcentrum van de Omroep.

The course goals are to promote and develop your talent and piano skills by offering the opportunity to work closely and intensively with other pianists in a stimulating environment with a limited number of participants. In addition to the lessons of the course, there will be concert opportunities, lectures and workshops. Moreover the ambience of the course is a friendly setting and offers opportunities to make friendships, network and connect with each other.

This course is very suited for everybody preparing for competitions who wants to work intensively in the road there, if you want to study your new repertory under guidance, if you want to work more in detail on your current programme, if you want to make music together, have stage opportunities, meet new people, and have some more trips and tricks how to expand your stage personality and focus.

Besides your daily piano classes there are workshops and lectures. The overview is not complete yet and currently being updated.

Those of you who want to form a piano duo during the week can mention it upon arrival and than we will find you a participant of same level / age that you can partner up with that week and study a piano duo piece that you can perform at the Saturday's closing concert.

Fees

240 euro registration fee.
Upon registration every participant pays 240 euro registration fee. This fee includes your practice rooms, concert opportunities including drinks and snacks, welcome breakfast and group lunches.

Non intensive Course Fee

330 euro course fee.
This includes 4 x 60 minute classes, 1 x 30 minute class (friday) and 1 or 2 duo classes

Intensive Course Fee

625 euro course fee.
This includes 9 x 60 minute piano lessons and 1 or 2 duo classes.

We will have 8 practice rooms available with good acoustic piano's. The practice rooms will need to be shared between a maximum of 16 people, so there will be enough practice opportunity.

Enrolled students will be able to freely listen to all the lessons of the course.

Heuvellaan Hilversum

The Heuvellaan Hilversum is the heart of music in Hilversum and surrounding area. It's the place for concerts, music studies, orchestra rehearsals, choirs, recording and many more musical entities coming together.

We are proud to host our summer school here. It gives an amazing opportunity to have many practice rooms, use of concert halls, beautiful steinways and free parking.

It's on walking distance from hotels, train stations and city centre.

Amrath Hotel Media Park

The recommendation is to stay at the Amrath Hotel Media Park, but everybody is free to choose their own accommodation.

We have a price deal with them:

  • 87.50 euro for a double room excluding breakfast per night.
  • 139 euro for a family room for 4 people excluding breakfast per night.

This hotel is on walking distance of the Heuvellaan Hilversum, Heuvellaan 33 Hilversum. The venue of the Summer School. It's in a quiet area with very good service.
